One retiree, one specialist
If it’s a fit, we introduce you to one specialist. Not five. Not a call center.
How we make money
Money Neighbor is free for retirees. You should know why. Licensed specialists pay us to meet people who want help. That’s our whole business. Here’s how it works.
The short answer
Take the free Income Check. Want to talk it over? Pick a time for a free call with our team.
You pay us $0Our team calls you. If it’s a fit, we introduce one licensed specialist in your state.
One introductionAn insurance agent or financial advisor. You meet on a Zoom video call, at a time that suits you.
Pays us a feeSpecialists pay us a fee for the meetings we set up. That fee pays for the Income Check, our guides and the team who calls you. You never pay Money Neighbor anything. You never have to buy anything.
Our policies
These are our rules. If we ever change one, we’ll update this page that same day.
If it’s a fit, we introduce you to one specialist. Not five. Not a call center.
We don’t sell your name, number or answers to lead lists or data brokers. Those are companies that sell people’s details. We never pass you to more than one specialist.
We teach and we match. We are not an insurance company, broker or financial adviser. Any advice comes from the specialist. The choice is always yours.
Talking with a specialist is free. You never have to buy anything. “No thanks” is always a fine answer.
How specialists qualify
They must hold an active license in your state. It must cover what they talk about with you. We check the state’s public records.
No pressure. Before you decide anything, they explain every fee in plain English. That includes any surrender charge, a fee for taking money out early.
We aren’t on every call. We can’t promise any product is right for you. If a specialist breaks our rules, tell us at hello@moneyneighbor.com. We’ll look into it. We stop sending people to specialists who break them.
It can. Some states have more than one specialist. Some of them pay extra to be first in line. Every specialist must meet the same rules. And you’re always free to say no.
Before you decide
